The saffron proposed here has been grown in Quebec with great care. Each of the flowers was picked and pruned by hand. The removed pistils were dried by small amounts of heat in a low-temperature oven. Then the pistils were put to rest for 1 month to allow the unique aroma and subtle fragrance of saffron to develop.
